BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) — Trae Bell-Haynes scored 19 points and Payton Henson added 16 points and 10 rebounds in Vermont's 73-58 victory over winless Dartmouth on Wednesday night.
Bell-Haynes made 9 of 10 free throws for the Catamounts (7-3), who were 22 of 26 from the line to only 7 of 10 for the Big Green (0-7). Henson, a Tulane transfer, posted his first double-double as a Catamount. Ernie Duncan added 10 points.
Bell-Haynes scored 12 points and Henson had eight rebounds in the first half when Vermont made all 10 of their free throws and finished the half on a 16-5 run to lead 30-23.
Dartmouth cut the lead to two early in the second half but wouldn't get closer with the Catamounts using a 10-0 run to go up 59-41 with 8:41 left and leading by 22 late in the game.
Evan Boudreaux and Wesley Dickinson scored 10 points each for Dartmouth.
