CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) — Clemson has added former Valparaiso forward David Skara to its roster.
Tigers coach Brad Brownell announced the signing on Thursday. Skara, a 6-foot-8 sophomore, played the past two seasons at Valparaiso. He will have two years of eligibility at Clemson after sitting out next season due to NCAA transfer rules.
Skara played in 63 games for the Crusaders over the past two seasons, averaging 6.5 points last season.
Brownell says Skara is an athletic player who can be very productive.
Skara becomes the latest Division I transfer to join the Tigers.
Clemson brought in Marcquise Reed of Robert Morris, Shelton Mitchell of Vanderbilt and Elijah Thomas of Texas A&M the past year. Reed and Mitchell will be eligible from the start of next season. Thomas will be eligible in December.
