BALTIMORE (AP) — Eric Fanning scored 14 points, pulled down 15 rebounds, and Boston University beat Loyola (Md) 73-65 on Saturday.

John Papale and Kyle Foreman also finished with 14 points for the Terriers (16-11, 9-5 Patriot League), who have won six straight games. Cheddi Mosely and Dylan Haines each had 10 points for Boston University.

Andre Walker scored 16 points to lead Loyola (Md). Franz Rassman added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Greyhounds (8-17, 7-7), who were held to just 32.4 percent shooting and 2 of 18 from behind the arc.

The Terriers held a 50-39 lead midway through the second half, but Loyola chipped away, cutting its deficit to 63-60 on an Eric Laster jumper with 2:35 to go. However Papale made two free throws and Fanning made a jumper on back-to-back possessions to push the margin back to seven and put the Greyhounds away.
