STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) — Joshua Spiers scored 17 points and Loyola Marymount made an impressive run late to overtake Pacific 77-72 on Thursday night.

Loyola Marymount (11-14, 4-10 West Coast) trailed 71-63 with 4:10 to go. The Lions then ran off 14 straight points, as Pacific missed five consecutive shots and turned it over four times in the stretch.

Spiers made 5 of 7 from the field with three 3-pointers. Marin Mornar scored 13 points with seven boards, Steven Haney had 12 points — all on 3-pointers — and Adom Jocko added 11. The Lions hit 12 of 19 from beyond the arc.

Pacific (7-16, 5-8) was led by Eric Thompson with 19 points and eight boards. Alec Kobre scored 12 points and T.J. Wallace added 11. The Tigers have lost four of five. Pacific shot 49 percent and outrebounded LMU 35-29.
