TOWSON, Md. (AP) — David Walker scored 18 points and Northeastern outlasted Towson 47-44 on Thursday night.

Walker was 7 of 14 from the field and 4 of 9 from beyond the arc for the Huskies (13-13, 5-8 Colonial), which snapped a six-game losing streak.

John Davis led Towson (17-9, 8-5) with 18 points and 10 rebounds. The Tigers won the rebound battle 40-25, but shot 31 percent (17 of 55) and went just 2 of 23 (8.7 percent) on 3-point attempts.

Towson was down by six with 4:35 left after Zach Stahl's putback put Northeastern up 45-39. Davis sank a pair of free throws on the next possession, and then Mike Morsell hit a 3-pointer to draw the Tigers within one with 2:55 to go.

But Towson didn't score again, missing its last four shots and turning it over three times.
