GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — Geno Crandall scored 17 points and North Dakota handled NAIA-member Waldorf College 78-58 on Tuesday.

Crandall was 7 of 12 from the floor, grabbed four rebounds, and had four assists and five steals. Quinton Hooker scored 14 points with seven boards and four assists and Conner Avants had 10 points for North Dakota (3-4).

Waldorf was led by Tyler Parrish with 17 points. He was 5 of 7 from beyond the arc.

North Dakota scored the first seven points of the game, but Waldorf came back with a flurry of 3-pointers by Parrish, and the Warriors led 16-11 at the second TV timeout. North Dakota used an 8-0 run to close the first half and led 34-30 at intermission — and never trailed again.

A 13-2 run midway through the second half put the Fighting Hawks up by 26.
