WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (AP) — Omar Prewitt scored 18 points to help William & Mary knock off Old Dominion 55-48 on Tuesday night.

Prewitt was 6 of 13 from the floor with seven rebounds and four assists for William & Mary (5-2).

Old Dominion (3-4) was led by Trey Freeman and Aaron Bacote with 14 points apiece.

Neither team was sharp from long distance — William & Mary was 0 of 15 from beyond the arc, while Old Dominion made 2 of 18. The big difference was at the foul line, where William & Mary made 13 of 18 and ODU was just 4 of 9.

Bacote hit a jumper with 2:04 left to put Old Dominion up 48-46, but William & Mary scored the last nine points as ODU missed its last three shots and turned it over twice.

Old Dominion led most of the first half and went into the break with a 22-19 advantage.
