INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Kellen Dunham matched a career high with 32 points as Butler cruised past SIU-Edwardsville in the second half to post an 89-73 win Saturday.

Dunham knocked down 10 of 15 shots from the field, including 5 of 8 from beyond the arc to match his career high set as a sophomore against Washington State in the Old Spice Classic. Tyler Wideman added 13 points and Roosevelt Jones added 11 points and dished out 11 assists.

Butler (4-1) led by one at intermission, 39-38, and the Cougars took the lead on Yemi Makanjuola's jumper with 18:46 left, but Wideman sparked a seven-point run with a layup and the Bulldogs led, 47-41 with under 16 minutes to play. Andrew Chrabascz hit a 3-pointer to push the Butler lead to 16 midway through the second half.

Grant Fiorentinos scored 17 points and Burak Eslik added another 16 to lead SIU-Edwardsville (1-4).
