NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (AP) — Bobby Hain had 16 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high nine assists to lead Youngstown State to an 88-70 victory over Niagara on Saturday.

Hain was 7 of 15 from the floor with a steal and two blocks. Francisco Santiago scored 15 points, and Jorden Kaufman added 14 for Youngstown State (3-4).

Emile Blackman scored 23 points on 9-of-20 shooting to lead Niagara (2-5).

Both teams made 10 3-pointers. Santiago and Brett Frantz made three apiece for the Penguins, while Blackman and Chris Barton hit three each for the Purple Eagles.

Blackman made a pair of free throws to pull the Purple Eagles to 63-62 with 12:29 to play. Kaufman made a layup to spark a 19-2 run and give the Penguins an 82-64 lead with four minutes left. Santiago, Latin Davis, and Matt Donlan made 3-pointers during the span.
