PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — D'Marques Tyson made six 3-pointers and scored 20 points, leading four bench players in double figures as Portland rolled to a 97-65 win over Alcorn State on Tuesday night.
Portland (3-2) made 15 of 31 3-point attempts and 36 of 66 (55 percent) overall. The Pilots had 11 makes on 20 3-pointers by halftime en route to a 58-33 lead and their second straight win by 30-plus points.
Jarrel Marshall had 11 points while Jazz Johnson and Rashad Jackson contributed 10 points apiece, joining Tyson off the Pilots bench in double figures. Tyson finished 6 of 10 on 3s and 7 of 11 overall.
Patrick Onwenu had 20 points on 7-of-10 shooting and eight rebounds for Alcorn State (0-3). Devonte Hampton had 18 points, and Reginald Johnson added 13 points and 10 rebounds, five offensive.
Portland's bench outscored Alcorn State's 54-19.
