FARGO, N.D. (AP) — AJ Jacobson scored 19 points, Paul Miller added 17, and North Dakota State rallied to beat Hampton 74-66 on Saturday night.

Jacobson and Miller each scored 12 points in the second half and the Bison overcame a 42-35 halftime deficit to lead by as many as 12.

Lawrence Alexander scored 15, Chris Kading 12, and the Bison (2-2 Summit) were outshot 47.3 percent to 45 percent from the field.

Quinton Chievous led Hampton (1-3 Mid-Eastern Athletic) with 15 points, Dwight Meikle had 13, and Brian Darden 11.

The lead traded hands nine times before Hampton's Darden tied it at 30 with a 3-pointer at 4:53. Chievous hit five-straight points and the Pirates led by nine with 27 seconds to play.

The Bison opened with a 10-2 run in the second half, led 54-52 on a 3-pointer by Alexander and pulled away by 12 on a trey by Miller at 5:23.
