The Cougars roll in Laramie. This game went just as BYU would have it after the disaster against TCU. The BYE week was effective for the Cougars to get things done! Back-to Back shutouts against Wyoming for the first time in 77 years! 96-0 over the two games. Max Hall 312 Yards Passing, 4 TD's Diluigi 94 Yards, 2 TD's Receiving Nelson 10 Rushes, 71 Yards

It appears Max Hall's day may be done after a 15-yard touchdown pass to J.J. Di Luigi. It was Hall's 4th touchdown pass of the day. He has been unstoppable. He has had 2 incompletions all day. Harvey Unga's day appears done as well. He limped off the field. It sounds like he could return if needed -- just a bit of a sprained ankle. Also, O'Neill Chambers did make it back in after going out in the first half. He had a nice shoe-string catch for 9 yards here in the 3rd Quarter.

A 15-YD screen play to JJ Diluiggi and a nice spin to get into the endzone making it 45-0 with the majority of the second half to play. I would expect a lot more running plays and a lot less Max Hall.

Wyoming with the ball to start the 2nd Half, but nothing doing! The Cowboys offense is very hard to watch.... BYU however continues to roll on offense. Methodically down the field the Cougars move the ball and it is now 38-0. The question now becomes when do we see a guy named Riley....and we are not talking PAT!

HALFTIME SCORE 31-0. Wyoming strung together a very good drive at the end of the half that didn't see any results. The Cougs have more than 350 Yds. of offense at the half and the Cowboys are at just over 100. Max Hall is almost perfect at 16 for 17, 265 Yds. and 3 touchdowns in the first half. That being said, the defense is pitching a shutout. Something we haven't seen all season.

It didn't take long for McKay Jacobson's presence to be felt, after four games away recovering from a hamstring injury. He just took a pass from Max Hall and went 79 yards for the score. He looks good. Max Hall continues to be sharp. He has only missed on one pass. He has well over 200 yards passing and three touchdowns. BYU looks very business-like. This is getting ugly and if the Cougars keep it up, it should get uglier.

12:00 Second Quarter
(25) BYU 17, Wyoming 0

BYU's offense is firing maybe better than it has all season but its made even more evident since the BYU defense is absolutely locked down on the Cowboys. Cougars on pace for almost 600 yds of offense today. The Cowboys on pace for about 60.

13:12 Second Quarter

00:00 First Quarter
(25) BYU 10, Wyoming 0

This is exactly the way you want to see BYU come out after a devastating loss to TCU two weeks ago. The offense, for the most part, looked sharp in the first quarter. Harvey Unga had some nice runs, and the Cougars made good use of their running backs by throwing to them out of the backfield. J.J. Di Luigi had a really nice catch on a wheel route out of the backfield that went for a touchdown. He also had a nice gain on a screen pass. The only concern at this point is some sort of injury to O'Neill Chambers. It's unclear at this point what the injury is.

8:30 First Quarter
(25) BYU 10, Wyoming 0

36 Yd Field Goal for Mitch Payne on a rare field goal attempt. The Cougars moved the ball very well on the drive only to be stopped just inside the red zone but Payne's FG was true. The offense is piling up a lot of yards and chewing up a lot of clock.

10:17 First Quarter
(25) BYU 7, Wyoming 0

This is absolutely the way BYU needed to start this game! The Cowboys defer and BYU gets the ball for the opening drive. A good dose of the run sets up Max Hall to JJ Diluigi for a 44 yard TD. JJ does his best Lord of the Dance impersonation and gets an unsportsmanlike penalty and that costs the Cougars as Wyoming will start at their own 41 yard line.
