BYU junior cornerback Brian Logan hadn't even heard about BYU until he saw the Cougars play Oregon in the Las Vegas Bowl in 2006. Now he's one of BYU's most fearless defenders.

Sorry, we are not accepting new comments on this story.
@BB - Why would he lie about this? Maybe the truth is that BYU doesn't have near the reputation you like to think they do, especially when you step out of our little state.
Whatever the reason for his statement, he seems like a class act, and he's fully enjoying his time living the dream (well, except that he ended up at a school he hadn't heard of ;) ). I wish him nothing but the best... when he's not playing Utah.
@BB - Many people outside of Utah have never heard of BYU. Why does that suprise you? However, mMost people know of the U because of their success in Football and medicene. Sorry, study in creationism does not get a lot of national attention.
@BB - I also agree with BB. It's very intresting that he would say that and watch one game and realize he was suppose to play football at BYU. My question is why would BYU sign a guy that claims he had never heard of school before? The way Bronco talks of BYU earning respect...I would think he would've considered this an insult to the team.
He may be fearles and I suspose he plays as hard as he can, yet I hope he's not expecting an NFL carreer.
Perhaps he plays thee most difficult position in football, but he is not that good. However, I will say the lack of a BYU pass rush doesn't help his cause either...
KSL's public inspection files, including the Children's Television Programming Reports and the DTV Quarterly Activity Station Report, are available for viewing during regular office hours at the KSL Broadcast House.
What, he is bruising the ankles of those he is trying to defend?
Sorry, but fearless defender and Brian Logan aren't compatible. Truth is, he is too small.
He maybe tries hard, but I am not convinced that there aren't enough players out there for BYU that they need to resort to undersized guys.
BULL-CHEESE! How could you be good enough to play college ball and never hear of BYU.
I need my eyes re-balled and my brain flushed with vinegar
I don't mind if you vote disagree, just tell me why.

I "say" that game as well...
