LAS VEGAS — In Brandon Davies' third professional game on Monday, he got to match up against former WCC foe Robert Sacre from Gonzaga as the Clippers and Lakers tipped-off at the Las Vegas Summer League.
The result, Davies scored two points in 13 minutes, grabbed three rebounds and handed out a couple of assists. Davies was 1-for-3 from the field, missing a wide-open put-back and was very short on a 3-pointer.
Davies lone bucket was a great reverse pivot bank shot in Sacre's face.
Sacre played 22 minutes, scored eight points, and snatched three rebounds.
The Vegas Summer League will play a Tournament Schedule starting on July 17th and carry through July 21st.
Davies and the Clippers won't play another game until Wednesday, when the tournament begins.
