On Monday, Jimmer Fredette scored a career-high 22 points vs. the Phoenix Suns. He was 7-13 from the field, 3-5 from 3 and a perfect 5-5 from the line.

For the year, Fredette is averaging 7.6 ppg. He is shooting well from the field at 47%, 40% from 3, 94% from the line in just 12 minutes per game.

Fredette was efficient in his 23 minutes of limited playing time versus the Suns. In 24 games this season, Fredette has played more than 20 minutes just twice and has registered zero minutes five times.

In comparison, at a similar point last year, Fredette had played in 20 of 22 games and had played more than 20 minutes in 17 of 24.

Fredette scored in a variety of ways. He used his mid-range jumper, threes, a contorting layup and a nice little floater in the lane, but unless Sacramento trims down its glut of guards, minutes are going to be hard to come by in Sacramento.
