CLEVELAND (AP) — The Cleveland Indians placed reliever Jeff Manship on the 15-day disabled list Friday because of tendinitis in his right wrist.

Manship is 1-1 with a 3.38 ERA in 37 appearances. He has struggled in seven games since the All-Star break, allowing seven runs — four earned — and seven hits in 3 1/3 innings.

Right-hander Zach McAllister was activated from the disabled list. He has been sidelined since July 7 because of a sore right hip. McAllister is 2-2 with a 5.40 ERA in 30 appearances.
