MIAMI (AP) — Chicago Cubs second baseman Ben Zobrist has left his team's game at Miami after he was hit by a pitch on the left ankle.
The pitch from Mike Dunn hit Zobrist on one bounce Friday night. Zobrist took his base and stayed in the game until the end of the inning, but was then replaced in the field.
Zobrist is batting .302 for the injury-plagued NL Central leaders.
