SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The Philadelphia Phillies have placed right-hander Andrew Bailey on the 15-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain and promoted Edubray Ramos from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Bailey was injured covering first base on Wednesday, and the move was announced Friday night.

The 23-year-old Ramos is a combined 2-1 with a 1.16 ERA and 10 saves in 12 chances in stints at Double-A Reading and Lehigh Valley. The right-hander was 1-0 with a 0.38 in 23 2/3 innings in Triple-A and has never pitched in the majors.

Bailey, 32, is 3-0 with a 4.39 ERA in 26 2/3 innings with the Phillies this year.
