Justin Maxwell agrees to minor league deal with Marlins

MIAMI (AP) — Outfielder Justin Maxwell has agreed to a minor league contract with the Miami Marlins.

The 32-year-old hit .209 with seven homers and 26 RBIs this year in 249 at-bats with San Francisco. He has a .220 average, 41 homers and 133 RBIs in seven major league seasons that have included stints with Washington, Houston and Kansas City.

The agreement was announced Tuesday.
