Near-complete French presidential election results show that centrist Emmanuel Macron and far-right leader Marine Le Pen are in the lead after a tight and exceptional race. With 89.7 percent of the vote counted, Macron has 23.7 percent of the vote and Le Pen 21.9 percent. They are followed by conservative Francois Fillon, with 19.9 percent, and far-left candidate Jean-Luc Melenchon with 19.2 percent.
