WASHINGTON (AP) — U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson says China has asked North Korea to conduct no further nuclear tests. Tillerson says China also told the U.S. that it had informed North Korea "that if they did conduct further nuclear tests, China would be taking sanctions actions on their own." The top U.S. diplomat made the remarks in an interview Thursday on Fox News Channel.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A top House Republican says the chamber will not vote on GOP legislation replacing President Barack Obama's health care law until at least next week. That's a setback for the White House. Officials there have been hoping for House passage of the legislation by Saturday _ President Donald Trump's 100th day in office.

SKOPJE, Macedonia (AP) — Dozens of people have been injured as the political crisis in Macedonia turns violent over a vote in parliament. Demonstrators stormed the building and attacked lawmakers in anger over the election of a new parliament speaker despite a months-old deadlock in efforts to form a new government. Authorities say clashes over several hours injured 77 people injured, including 22 police officers and several lawmakers. Neighboring countries and U.S. and EU have expressed concern over the unrest.

IMVEPI, Uganda (AP) — It begins with a walk across a wooden bridge. The Associated Press follows a South Sudanese clan as they join the hundreds of thousands who have fled civil war into neighboring Uganda, creating the world's largest refugee crisis. The head of the clan, Alfred, is 80, and he doesn't expect to return home. "I saw the killing, I saw burning houses, I saw the dead with their throats slashed. I cannot go back and see it again."

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump won't answer new questions about ousted National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. Trump ignored questions throughout the day Thursday on news that the Pentagon's acting inspector general has launched a probe of Flynn's work on behalf of foreign interests. That includes work for RT, the state-supported Russian television network, and a company linked to Turkey's government.
