BEIJING (AP) — China says President Xi Jinping will meet his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump at the latter's Florida resort on April 6-7. It will be the first in-person meeting between the two.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House is refusing to say whether it secretly fed intelligence reports to a top Republican lawmaker, fueling concerns about political interference in the investigation into possible coordination between Russia and the 2016 Trump campaign. Meanwhile, an attorney for former national security adviser Michael Flynn says Flynn is in discussions with the House and Senate intelligence committees about speaking to them in exchange for immunity.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Michael Flynn's attorney says the former national security adviser is in discussions with the House and Senate intelligence committees on receiving immunity from "unfair prosecution" in exchange for questioning. Flynn is part of ongoing probes into possible contacts between Donald Trump's presidential campaign and Russia. His attorney says no "reasonable person" with legal counsel would answer questions without assurances.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — The NCAA plans to review a deal to roll back North Carolina's bathroom bill before it makes a decision on whether to bring neutral-site championships back to the state. NCAA President Mark Emmert told reporters Thursday that the association's board of governors will have to discuss the new legislation before deciding whether they're comfortable hosting neutral-site championships in the state again.

ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia's top transportation official says there's no way to tell when the Atlanta highway where an overpass collapsed can be safely reopened to traffic in either direction. Department of Transportation Commissioner Russell McMurry said late Thursday that his agency will have to have to evaluate and adjust to the situation.
