ANKARA, Turkey (AP) — Turkey's state-run news agency says six children have died in a fire that broke out at a school teaching the Quran.

The Anadolu Agency says three other children were injured Tuesday in the fire at the school in Karaagac village, in the southeastern province of Diyarbakir.

Anadolu says an electrical heater is believed to have caused the fire.
