PRAGUE (AP) — Officials say Czech police have arrested a Turkish national who is wanted by Interpol for alleged links to terrorism.

Interior Minister Milan Chovanec announced the arrest on Twitter on Wednesday. He hasn't provided any details about the suspect, who isn't tied to the Paris attacks.

Police spokeswoman Ivana Jezkova says the 30-year-old was arrested on Tuesday while traveling in a car in a region east of the capital, Prague. Jezkova says the suspect was trying to avoid serving a prison term for an unspecified terrorism-related crime in Turkey.

A court will have to allow the man's extradition to Turkey.
