BERLIN (AP) — A German hospital says it's preparing to receive an Ebola patient from Africa for treatment — the second to be treated in the country during the current outbreak.

The Frankfurt University Hospital confirmed reports Thursday that a patient with Ebola is expected to be brought there for treatment. No further details were provided.

The Hesse state social affairs ministry says the patient has not yet left Africa.

Neither the hospital nor the ministry would say which African nation the patient was coming from, nor whether he or she was a worker for an aid organization.

A scientist infected with Ebola while working for the World Health Organization in Sierra Leone began receiving treatment in August in Hamburg. The hospital there refused to comment on his condition.
