The new chair of a legislative committee investigating Utah Attorney General John Swallow says he hopes to have a first meeting soon, but a potential conflict of interest may cause him to step aside.

Family of boy killed by bear supported by Utah Supreme Court ruling

The state's high court ruled Friday that the state of Utah had a duty to the family of a 11-year-old boy who was killed by a bear in 2007 because the state had taken specific action at the campsite after an earlier attack.
