Those of us who love shooting sports,
especially target shooting, have had a serious
wakeup call. When temperatures soar, humidity
is extremely low and vegetation is tinder dry,
even the skeptics now acknowledge that target
shooting can, indeed cause disastrous fires.

Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Jill are on their way to Utah. Both will only be here for a short time. Mr. Biden will be in Park City raising money for the presidential campaign while Mrs. Biden will spend the evening with Utah National Guard troops.
