New painless shot device creating buzz among moms

Since children receive more than two dozen shots by the age of six, it's understandable that some would develop a fear of needles. And with that phobia in mind, one mom — who's also a doctor — came up with a fun device to make shots pain-free.

Biometrics researchers see world without passwords

Some Purdue University researchers are working on technology that could see all those passwords that computer users must punch in replaced with steps such as iris and fingerprint scans.
