BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Firefighters from multiple agencies were called to a blaze at a Boise apartment complex that left one person dead and others injured.
KTVB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2gMPZUg ) that fire officials confirmed one person died and a firefighter was injured. Officials said another person was taken to the hospital and two adults and a child were treated at the scene.
Firefighters helped one woman out of a third-floor apartment using a ladder.
It started at about 1:15 p.m. Saturday at an apartment complex off West State Street.
It was not immediately clear how the fire started.
Firefighters focused on the roof and attic areas.
Fire crews from Boise, Meridian and Eagle battled the blaze well into the afternoon.
