PROVO, Utah (AP) — The Latest on a missing hiker who was with a 14-year-old boy killed in a fall in Provo Canyon (all times local):

10:44 a.m.

The body of a man who was hiking with a foreign exchange student who died after falling in Provo Canyon has been found.

Utah County sheriff's Lt. Erik Knutzen says the body of 28-year-old Brandon Reas, of Springville, was located Sunday around 8 a.m.

A search and rescue team is working to recover his body.

Knutzen says investigators are trying to determine what led to Reas and 14-year-old Kedi Chen's deaths.

According to Knutzen, hikers found Chen's body Saturday evening at the base of Bridal Veil Falls.

Investigators later learned that Chen, a Chinese national who lives in Nara, Japan, had only arrived in Utah that day as part of a short-term exchange program.

He was being hosted by Reas and his family.
