RUPERT, Idaho (AP) — Authorities in south-central Idaho say the body of a woman with multiple gunshot wounds and the body of a man with one gunshot wound have been found in a Rupert home.

Rupert police say they responded to a report of gunshots at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday and found the bodies.

Police identified the woman as 47-year-old Kelli Joann York and the man as 57-year-old Lauren R. Jackson.

Police describe the two as a former couple.

Authorities didn't immediately label the case a murder-suicide but say there is no on-going threat to the community.
