FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (AP) — There's a big hole in a Waffle House restaurant in North Carolina after an SUV crashed into the building.
Multiple media outlets reported that a motorist crashed into the building around 2 a.m. Tuesday.
There was no immediate word on injuries in the 24-hour restaurant. Police have not determined why the driver, who was not immediately identified, crashed into the building.
Images from the scene showed broken tables and glass scattered in the dining area.
