CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — Secret Witness is offering a $500 reward in connection with a jewelry heist at a Carson City department store.
The Carson City sheriff's office say three masked men broke a door with a rock and entered the JC Penny Store on South Carson Street at 5 a.m. on May 17.
Investigators say they made off with the loot in less than 2 minutes after using a rock and possibly a crowbar to smash four cases in the fine jewelry department.
One suspect was tall and thin, wearing a white "lab" type coat, gloves, and black mask.
Another was carrying a black duffel bag wore a red-hooded shirt with a black jacket, gloves, and surgical mask.
The other wore a white shower cap, surgical mask and gloves.
