RENO, Nev. (AP) — Police say a man is dead after being found shot northwest of Reno.
KRNV-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1sAMa9B ) that Lassen County Sheriff's Office says the gunshot victim was found at a property off Highway 36 Susanville, California, on Wednesday afternoon.
Susanville is an hour northwest of Reno.
The sheriff's office says emergency responders performed CPR but the unidentified man was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say the suspected shooter took off in a vehicle that was parked on the property.
Police are investigating.
