BURDETTE, Ark. (AP) — Authorities say a 73-year-old Osceola woman was killed in a three-vehicle wreck in northeast Arkansas that involved a tractor-trailer and a school bus.
Arkansas State Police say no students were on board the Mississippi County school bus at the time of the wreck Wednesday afternoon. A preliminary report says a car driven by Jeanette Williamson crossed the center line of Arkansas 61 and crashed into an oncoming truck, then collided with the back of a school bus.
State police say Williamson died in the wreck.
Authorities say no one else was injured in the collision. The school bus sustained minor damage.
