TOOELE, Utah (AP) — The Utah Highway Patrol has identified a woman who died after her vehicle crashed in Tooele.
Authorities say 67-year-old Huong Tran Ngo was traveling the eastbound lane of I-80 Saturday afternoon when the crash occurred.
According to UHP investigators, her vehicle went to the left and onto the shoulder for an unknown reason.
Troopers believe she overcorrected and the vehicle overturned several times.
The impact threw her from the vehicle.
The UHP says she died at the scene.
They are trying to determine if Ngo was using a seat belt and other factors that may have contributed a role in the crash.
