DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) — Authorities say windows seem to have been shot out at three Christian schools and one church in Dothan.
Dothan police said in a statement Sunday that all of the buildings were closed and unoccupied when the damage occurred over the weekend. Authorities believe the damage was caused by gunfire.
News outlets report that Emmanuel Christian School, Providence Christian School and Northside Methodist Academy all sustained damage, as did Christian Fellowship Church.
Police say the schools are expected to open as scheduled on Monday.
