LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas Police say they've arrested 53-year-old Michelle Young who faces a murder charge in the shooting death of her ex-husband 58-year-old Henry Gregory Bankey inside his Las Vegas-area home early Thanksgiving morning.
Police say they suspect the two may have been arguing shortly before Bankey was shot in the chest and died.
Other family members and children were reportedly inside the home when the shooting happened.
Bankey has lived in Southern California and Utah as well as Las Vegas and appeared to be most recently president and chief operating officer of Summerlin Energy LLC according to records.
Police first received a call about the shooting at 4:13 a.m.
The home is in the western Las Vegas valley near Sahara Avenue and Durango Drive on Fullmoon Maple Avenue.
