ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — The Albuquerque Police Department is investigating after they found students at a high school were sharing naked photos.
The Albuquerque Journal reports (http://bit.ly/1XfKDU9 ) that Albuquerque Public Schools asked the department to investigate on Tuesday after they found students at La Cueva High School were digitally sharing photos.
An Instagram account began sharing naked photos, though the account has since been deleted. Officials say it is unclear whether the pictures were taken and shared consensually or without the knowledge of the subjects.
Similar nude photo scandals are being investigated across the country, most recently at Conon City High School in southern Colorado.
