GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) — Two schools in the University of North Carolina system are working together on a physical therapy program.

Officials from East Carolina University and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke will sign a memorandum of understanding that establishes a satellite program for ECU's doctor of physical therapy program at Pembroke.

The memorandum will be signed Wednesday at the ECU Health Sciences Building. Speakers will include ECU Chancellor Steve Ballard; UNCP Chancellor Kyle Carter; and the incoming chancellor at UNCP, Robin Cummings.

UNC Pembroke began a study in 2007 on the feasibility of establishing a physical therapy program, leading to the collaboration with ECU.
