JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (AP) — Six students accused of vandalizing a western New York high school as a senior prank face criminal charges.
The Jamestown High School seniors are charged with felony burglary, criminal mischief and criminal tampering after the alleged Memorial Day weekend prank.
Police say the students entered the school through an old boiler room, tied lockers together with kite string, scattered reams of copy paper, dusted the building with glitter and damaged the lock on an administrator's office door.
Captain Robert Samuelson tells WGRZ-TV (http://on.wgrz.com/1RoDKtw ) the students charged are all college-bound with no history of trouble.
