HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A Connecticut man could face life in prison for a killing that police solved by tracking a gold chain and medallion featuring the Disney character Scrooge McDuck.

The Hartford Courant reports (http://cour.at/1IZnFsA) a Hartford jury convicted 23-year-old Tyquan Turner of felony murder, robbery and conspiracy on Tuesday.

Turner was acquitted of another murder charge in the July 2013 fatal shooting of 25-year-old Miguel Rodriguez, but the felony murder conviction carries the same penalty.

Twenty-three-year-old Lorenza Christian is also charged in Rodriguez's killing. He's awaiting trial.

Police arrested the men after tracking the unique necklace to a pawnshop.

Turner's sentencing is scheduled for July 21.
