BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — The FBI in Buffalo is holding a first-of-its-kind leadership seminar for high school athletes.
The Captains Leadership Seminar scheduled for Friday is the result of a partnership between the FBI, the New York State Public High School Athletic Association, University at Buffalo and Erie Community College.
Organizers say the half-day program will help athletes develop leadership qualities that will help them in college and careers.
Among speakers are Buffalo Sabres Captain Brian Gionta, Amanda Nickerson of UB's Alberti Center for Bullying Abuse Prevention and ECC football coach Scott Pilkey.
