GENESEO, N.Y. (AP) — Two SUNY-Geneseo college students have been charged in connection with the drug-related death of a fellow student.
The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports (http://on.rocne.ws/1JN53MG ) 23-year-old Richard Rovner of Buffalo and 20-year-old Michael Green of Brooklyn were issued appearance tickets Monday on charges of tampering with physical evidence and conspiracy in the death last year of Alexander Davis.
The Monroe County Medical Examiner's Office found that the 20-year-old a sophomore died accidentally from a combination of cocaine and fentanyl. Davis was found on a couch in a bedroom of Phi Sigma Xi fraternity house and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Geneseo police say the two suspects conspired to cover up things at the scene and did not get Davis the help he needed immediately.
