LAKEWOOD, N.J. (AP) — Authorities say a fire in the largest dormitory at Georgian Court University in Lakewood was suspicious.
The fire broke out early Sunday in Maria Hall. No one was injured.
The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office says someone set fire to paper flyers and decorations on a dorm room door.
The fire scorched the door and triggered the smoke alarm. But the residence hall did not sustain any major damage.
About 210 upper classman live in the dorm.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
