DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) — In a story Jan. 31, The Associated Press reported that the American Civil Liberties Union of Iowa is against certain wording in legislation that would reduce school bullying in the state. The story should have made clear that Rita Bettis, legal director of the group, plans to suggest an amendment to tighten the bill's wording, rather than introduce an amendment.
