LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities say a 58-year-old motorcyclist died of injuries received in a crash with a car on a busy Las Vegas thoroughfare a week earlier.

The Clark County coroner reported Tuesday that a cause of death hasn't been determined for Alvin Willingham of Las Vegas.

Police say Willingham died Monday at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center.

He had been critically hurt about 1:15 p.m. Jan. 19, when the 1980 Yamaha motorcycle he was riding crashed into the back of an Oldsmobile sedan turning into a shopping center on Flamingo Road east of Maryland Parkway.

Police say another motorcyclist slid his motorcycle on its side to stop to help Willingham. That motorcyclist wasn't involved in the crash.

Police say the Oldsmobile driver, 85-year-old Wilbur Ramberg of Las Vegas, received minor injuries.
