SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Police say they've arrested four people during an investigation into a shot fired at a Utah state trooper Friday.
Authorities say investigators started chasing a car about 2:15 Monday while tracking a person who might be connected with the shooting.
The Utah Highway Patrol says in a statement four people were in the car, and they took all of them into custody for questioning after they caught up with the vehicle. No one was immediately booked into jail.
The trooper wasn't hurt in the Friday shooting. Police say the shot came out of a car that drove by as the trooper struggled to arrest a woman on the side Interstate 215 following a wild car chase.
