LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities have identified a scooter rider who died after a car ran a red light and triggered a five-vehicle crash in Las Vegas on Thanksgiving.

Clark County coroner's officials say 38-year-old Las Vegas resident Claudia Bustamante died in the crash that happened just before 7 a.m. Thursday.

Police say a Honda Civic ran a red light at the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Fremont Street. The Civic was hit by a Camry that had a green light, and then hit a Ford Explorer.

The Ford Explorer spun and hit a scooter that was stopped at the light.

Bustamante was pronounced dead at the Sunrise Trauma Center.

Her 39-year-old passenger was severely injured in the crash.
