COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho State Police say they have arrested a 26-year-old woman in the death of a Shoshone County toddler over the summer.
Investigators say Heather Lynn Crawford was arrested without incident at her home Friday for investigation of first-degree murder.
The 22-month-old girl was found unresponsive in bed at her home near Kingston on Aug. 22. According to police, Crawford was dating the child's father.
Crawford was booked into the Shoshone County Jail and is scheduled to be arraigned in Shoshone County Magistrate Court on Monday. It was not immediately clear if she had a lawyer.
